Thank you very much for this webpage and for saving history. I am a private historian writing a chronicle about the Headquarters Second Tactical Air Force / B.A.F.O. at Bad Eilsen from 1945 to 1955. So there is a special interest in all matters about 2nd TAF from 1943 to 1945. Does someone know in which period the HQ 2nd TAF was at Süchteln? I am also very interested in photographs. Many thanks for reading this. Markus

Thank you so much for a very informative website. My wife and I visit Kleve every few years. I am a computer simulator pilot and found Airport Weeze by accident, also noting that Microsoft Flight Simulator X depicts several major errors regarding this airport in its programming. Of course, I am in the process of correctly depicting Airport Weeze in this program, using Google Earth and information I can gather on the internet to share with flight simulator enthusiasts on the internet. Next year, I will visit the airport to see it for myself.
let me first say a big compliment to your great webpage and the good job you're doing in the way of sharing several information in a perfect way. I also found some pictures of my favorite airplane at your webpage. I’m still a soldier by profession and in former times I was a member of the maintenance ground crew and technician of the F-104G Starfighters at the GAF Air Base in Nörvenich. Well of course with my own webpage I’ve only one topic (the ‘F-104G’) but let me say we’re all using the same air isn’t it. Please don't stop your job. I'm happy to know that there're still good people at the former British AB. The British had to go but the enthusiasts are still there!
